MONTHLY PICKS: BOOKS I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO IN MAY

Can you believe it is May? In one more month we will be half way through 2026, and I swear it just got started! I hope your reading has been great so far? I have read so many great books, and a few bad ones, and boy do I have a long list of books that I am wanting for the month of May..so lets get to it....

RELEASING MAY 5TH

FURY BOUND BY SABLE SORENSON

I know I am not the only one that is counting the days until Fury Bound hits the book store shelves. The second book in the Wolves of Ruin series, the ever popular Dire Wolf being the first, includes Found Family, Fated Mates, Morally Grey Characters ( My favorite kind ) and a Forbidden Romance.
I don't know about you, but by the sound of it, this has everything and more that I want in a book.

OUR PERFECT STORM BY CARLEY FORTUNE

Carley Fortune became an auto buy author for me the moment I  closed the cover on her debit book Every Summer After. I look forward to her yearly book being my favorite summer read, and so far she has not failed me. I am sure that Our Perfect Storm will bring all the heart-ache and drama that she is known for, and that I look forward to .

DEATHS DAUGHTER BY S.A. BARNES

This has been described as Neon Gods meets Ninth House, and there are two things I enjoy in my reading, one is Greek Gods, the other is Dark Academia ...so yes sir, I am in deep already

RELEASING MAY 12

DEATHBRINGER BY SONIA TAGLIARENI

Another Dark Academia set in the fantasy world dealing with a girl who speaks to the dead and a poison mage who team up and search for a murderer at a magical institute. Deathbringer is the first book in a planned trilogy

 RELEASING MAY 19

THE SHIPPERS BY KATHERINE CENTER

Katherine Center never fails to make me laugh, and this book was full of laughs. I was lucky enough to get an early read of this and if you are a fan of rom-coms, fake dating, and friends to lovers, The Shippers is the book for you.

BEAST AND REMEDY BY LL RILEY

Six Deities. Six Kingdoms. Each monarch gifted one of the Maker’s abilities…
But one heir is desperate to rectify a devastating mistake. This is book 2 of The Last of the Heirs series, and if you are a lover of fairytale retellings, this one takes on Beauty and The Beast. The first book Frost and Death can be found on Kindle Unlimited

SOON BY YOU BY DAHLIA ADLER

I am always excited for a book that has Jewish representation in it, and this one has been on my radar for sometime. It is a sexy opposite attracts rom-com that takes place in the Modern Orthodox community.

RELEASES MAY 26

THE SUMMER BOY BY PHILIPPE BESSON, TRANSLATED BY SAM TAYLOR

When the advert starts like this...
Tell me, do you know why the most beautiful love stories must always end badly?
How do you not pay attention?
If there is one thing I love, it is a book that rips my heart out, and this book has called my name...loudly.
I am a bit concerned because I have read a few translated books that just don't seem to sound right, but I am going into this full force regardless .
Off the coast of France six teenagers come together for the summer, and one of them disappears forever from a sudden tragedy.
I am not sure if I am ready, but trust me I am going in anyway.

*************************************************************************************

I think this should keep me busy for a month or two ( hopefully )
Are any of these on your radar ? Or do you have a book I missed that you want to share ?
