BOOK DATE: IT IS MONDAY, WHAT ARE YOU READING
t’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! This meme by Kathryn at The Book Date
I have been doing this hop for a few years by myself, but I decided the rest of the girls are going to join in, so there will be three of us from now on sharing our books.
TEE....
I have been having a good reading month. My mother has moved in with us after being put in hospice, so I have been hitting the audio books reguarly, and they go fast; however, without them I would not be reading, so I am very thankful for them at this moment.
This is what I read this past week.....
THE GUNCLE BY STEVEN ROWLEY
I bought this book when it was first released in 2021, and it has sat on my shelf since. With all the people moving in, things needed cleaning out, and I have started reading off my shelf a bit each week. I thought this was a cute story, but nothing to make me want to keep the book, so it will be gone by the end of the month
SWEET VENOM BY RINA KENT
Two of my favorite tropes at this moment are hockey and mafia...strange combo I know, but Rina Kent has given me a treat with The Vipers series. Ok, it isnt quite Mafia, but it is an organized crime type feeling, and I can't wait for the third one hitting shelves soon.
STUDENT UNION BY JULIE MURPHY
A college-based romance where a girl uses a rich childhood friend to stay at the prestigious college she is attending by marrying him.... Naturally, after ups and downs, they end up being more than a marriage of convenience.
THE PUCKING WRONG NUMBER BY CR JANE
This was a wild ride of a dark hockey romance. The last few chapters totally twisted this into something I did not see coming.

WHAT WE ARE READING......
TEE.....
THE DARK LORD'S GUIDE TO DATING BY TIFFANY HUNT
This is our monthly buddy read here on the blog; some of us are enjoying it, some aren't, but we are still having fun with it.
ONCE UPON A BROKEN HEART BY STEPHANIE GARBER
A little late to this book, but so far I am enjoying it. However, I have since been told I should have read Garber's previous trilogy to get a better understanding. Not sure I will be jumping into all these worlds...the one at Zodiac Academy is keeping me rather busy
BRYN
She is still deciding on what book out of her massive library to pick up and read.
RO.....
HARVEST SEASON BY BRYNNE WEAVER
