It's Monday What Are You Reading? 8-23-21

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment and er… add to your groaning TBR pile! This meme by Kathryn at The Book Date

I have finally started sewing for the open house that I have in October so I am utilizing audiobooks to their fullest right now! I am kind of liking them, and the freedom they give me to get things done and read at the same time LOL..

WHAT I AM READING NOW

56 DAYS BY CATHERINE RYAN HOWARD

My current listen, I should be able to finish this one up tomorrow morning while I am on the treadmill. It has been an interesting listen about two people during the lockdown.

MURDER AT MALLOWAN HALL BY COLLEN CAMBRIDGE

I am reading this on my kindle only at night so it will take me a bit to finish it. I am really enjoying this mystery about a murder in the library of Agatha Christie's country home. Her head of housekeeping is out to solve it!

BEFORE PITTSBURG BY KASIE WHITENER

This is the only physical book I have going right now. It is an emotional read and taking me a while because I haven't got the time during the day to sit right now. Still hoping to finish it this week.

WHAT I READ LAST WEEK

FOR THE WOLF BY HANNAH WHITTEN

This was our August book club read here and the blog and I DNF'd it. I feel horrible about that, but I just couldn't handle the writing. I made it to chapter 13 and nothing had happened and it felt like all I had read was descriptions of the forest.

RUBY FALLS BY DEBORAH GOODRICH ROYCE

I listened to this on audio and oh my gosh did it ever have a jaw-dropping ending. My review will be up later today or tomorrow.

UP NEXT

SUMMER ISLAND BY NATALIE NORMANN

One last summer read before it is over. Reading this for a blog tour, but looking forward to spending time with a book set on a Norwegian Island.

THE TURNOUT BY MEGAN ABBOTT

My next audible read. I have noticed a few books recently that include ballet, and because I took it all my childhood and on into high school I am really excited to read them, especially when they are thrillers.

That's all I have for today, but I would love for you to drop your link in the comments so I can come to visit and see what you have been reading

  8. My girls insist audiobooks aren't real books. I wouldn't have made it through the Harry Potter series without listening to them in my car.

Murder at Mallowan Hall sounds amazing. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog last week.
