Can't Wait Wednesday - Beach House Rules by Kristy Woodson Harvey

Can't-Wait Wednesday is hosted by Tressa at Wishful Endings and gives us a chance to highlight books we are patiently waiting to fill up our TBRs with.

One thing about me is that I love Beach Reads. Honestly, it is about all I read in the summer. I get so excited when I walk into Barnes & Noble and see that table full of brightly covered books that all take place on some beach somewhere in the US (the East Coast seems to be very popular ).

I also really enjoy books about the South, I somewhat live in the South, and what I mean by that is no one can decide if Oklahoma is the South, the Midwest, or the Southwest, heck I live here and don't even know. I claim the South, mostly because I have family in the true South and I relate well to them.

So my Can't Wait Wednesday for this week is perfect...

BEACH HOUSE RULES BY KRISTY WOODSON HARVEY

When Charlotte Sitterly’s husband is arrested for a white-collar crime, she and her daughter Iris are locked out of their house by the FBI and—what’s potentially even worse—thrust into the spotlight of @JuniperShoresSocialite, the town’s snarky anonymous Instagram account. Cut off from her bank accounts and feeling desperate, Charlotte takes up an acquaintance’s offer to stay at a beachfront former bed-and-breakfast that’s home to a community of single mothers and draws plenty of gossip in the small coastal North Carolina town.

Charlotte and Iris find solace and are surprised by how much fun they’re having with the other families despite their circumstances. But when the women discover a secret link between them, it changes everything they thought they knew about the unconventional family they’ve created and leaves them wondering whether their coming together was a coincidence at all. Will the skeletons in the mommune closets help Charlotte and Iris reclaim their place in the Juniper Shores community—or shatter the sisterhood forever?

  1. I've never read anything by Kristy Woodson Harvey. This one sounds interesting! And to answer your question, I read books whenever the urge strikes me. I don't limit seasonal books to their particular season.

Stop by and see my CWW!
